centre était le château érigé vers 1250.

The
Lordship of Champvent was created by Henri, son of Lord Ebal of
Grandson, and included the lands of Champvent, Mathod, Suscévaz,
Essert, Orges, Vugelles, La Mothe, Vuitboeuf, Sainte-Croix and Bullet.
Its centre was the castle erected around 1250.
